Despite the unsettled weather members are continuing with cruising at home and abroad. The first Channel Islands cruise has returned to Weymouth in winds ranging from flat calm to a Force 6 giving some exhilarating sailing. Chris and Alison Bell in their Najad 400, La Sorciere, decided to spend more time exploring the Channel Islands and North Brittany and after spending a few days in Jersey they headed for St. Malo where they tackled the Brexit paperwork to enter French waters. Meanwhile John Atkinson and Michael Gregory in Eleanor along with Graham and Debbie Bebbington in their motorboat Pied Piper have reached Alderney at the start their cross Channel cruise.
Further afield Chris Forrest and Alison Stephens in Muskrat are enjoying the sunshine and warm seas as they reach Turkey on their Eastern Mediterranean adventure and Ann Varlow and Paul Simpson have returned to the Ionian in Greece for a summer’s sailing in Jacana.
